


On arrival into Tokyo transfer to hotel.
Morning visit to Hamarikyu Gardens. Then go to Senso-ji Temple, popularly known as Asakusa Kannon which is Tokyo’s most sacred and spectacular temple and visit its famous Nakamise Arcade by boat. Also visit one of Tokyo’s most imaginative and interesting museums, Edo Tokyo Museum, which is built to resemble an old style of elevated warehouse. (B/L)
Morning visit Meiji Shinto Shrine which is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shōken. This is followed by a visit to a traditional Japanese garden, Rikugien Garden.
This afternoon visit the Akihabara Electronics District where there are numerous shops, selling all types of electronic devices, from as simple as Christmas-tree lights, to as complex as the latest micro-chip. (B/L)
This morning visit Imperial Palace Plaza, the home of the Emperor of Japan. Enjoy a Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony and visit the Roppongi Hills, one of Japan’s largest integrated property developments for an astonishing view over the whole city. Afternoon is at leisure. (B)
Coach to Hakone, stop at Kamakura. In Kamakura visit the famous Tsuruoka Hachiman Shrine and Great Buddha.
On arriving in Hakone, enjoy cruise on Lake Ashi for the best view of Mount Fuji. Also visit Owakudani Valley, an area around a crater created in the last eruption of the Mount Hakone 3000 years ago.
Enjoy Japanese Traditional dinner tonight. (B/D)

Day 7 - Takayama-Kanazawa
Visit Takayama Jinya which was in official use until 1969, and is now open to the public as a museum. Then visit Shirakawa-Go Village by coach. Continue to Kanazawa via Kokayama Village where we will enjoy a paper making demonstration. (B/L)
Morning visit the Garden of Kenroku-en, one of Japan’s “great three” gardens, and is best seen un-crowded early or late in the day. Then take a visit to the famed Nagamachi Samurai warriors.
In the afternoon, we will visit Higashi-Chaya Street and Former Guest House “Shima”. (B)

Today we visit Geisha house district and see artisan making gold foil.
Transfer to the station to board the special Express Thunder Bird train to Kyoto. (B)
Experience the glimmering legacy of medieval Japan, Kinkaku-ji, also known as the Golden Pavilion. Next we will visit Nijo Castle which is best known for its unusually ornate interiors and so-called nightingale floors. Visit the brightly colored Heian Shrine. Later visit Nishijin Textile, Nishiki Market Street and Kyoto Handicraft Centre. (B/L)
Today we take bullet train to Hiroshima to visit Memorial Museum for Atomic Bomb and then transfer by ferry to Miyajima to visit the famous World Cultural Heritage - Itsukushima Shrine. We will return to Kyoto by Bullet train in the evening. (B)
Morning visit Deer Park then visit Todaiji Temple, which houses a giant statue of the Buddha Vairocana, Before returning to Kyoto, visit Okura Sake Brewery Museum and Kasuga Grand Shrine which is famous for its many bronze lanterns. (B/L)
Morning visit Philosophers Walk along the canal in Kyoto. It is a pleasant stroll alongside the canal, past numerous temples and old wooden houses.
Afternoon is at leisure. Farewell dinner tonight. (B/D)
Transfer to the Osaka Kansai International airport for your onward flight. (B)
